Double recognition for APLF organisers

29/01/2003

The senior vice president of CMP Asia, Michael Duck, has been named as one of the Chinese exhibition industry’s eleven-most influential figures of 2002.

Organised by the International Business Daily and China Daily newspapers and the China International Convention and Exhibition Network, the listing recognises Duck’s contribution to the industry through his work as CMP Asia, and in his capacity as chairman of the Asia/Australasia/Middle East Chapter of the Union des Foires Internationales, the association representing the interests of the exhibition industry on a global scale.

CMP Asia has also been named a ‘Caring Company’ by the Hong Kong Council of Social Services.  The award recognises the work undertaken by the company in relation to the Association for Engineering and Medical Volunteer Services - particularly the company’s provision of training and work opportunities to the association’s service users, including ex-mentally ill and physically handicapped persons.
