Wolverine World Wide, Inc., Rockford, Mich., has announced the appointment of Byron M “Mark” Neal as president of Hush Puppies International. Neal succeeds Dan West who retired at the end of 2002 following a decade as head of the division. Neal, who was vice president of sales for the Hush Puppies, will report to Spencer “Skip” Zimmerman, president of the Hush Puppies Company.

In commenting on the appointment of Neal who joined the company seven years ago, Zimmerman said. “Neal is joining the international team at a great time in Hush Puppies history as prospects for the brand (developed under Dan West’s leadership) has never been stronger.”
