Francis Mullen
Francis Mullen, 84, died Saturday, Nov. 23 in Mashpee, MA, following a brief illness.
A graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, he served in the Navy during World War II. Following his military service be became involved in the footwear and leather industries, as an agent for top tanners in the country. He formed his own company, Mullin International Marketing, served as an officer in the New England Shoe and Leather Association, was an active member in the Boston Boot and Shoe Club and the Two Ten International Footwear Foundation.
He was also a director of the New England Leather and Components Suppliers Show for many years, and was a director of the Boston Leather Trades Benevolent Society. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, a son, a sister and six grandchildren.
