The organisers of China’s seventh Shoe Machinery & Raw Materials Exhibition are claiming that business worth $83.5 million was transacted at this year’s event, with signed contracts accounting for $33.7 million of the total and ‘intended contracts’ $50 million.

Held November 11-15 at the newly constructed Wenzhou Int’l Convention & Exhibition Center, Shanghai, the event attracted just over 24,000 visitors. More than 400 companies from 28 countries and regions exhibited in the fair, with 48% coming from abroad.
