GDS Fair in Dusseldorf, one the world leading shoe fairs, has lost its largest exhibitor for the 2003 edition – Esprit shoe factory of Ratingen.

Since 1994, Esprit had annually occupied some 1,200 square metres in Hall 12 of the venue.

The company said that its new strategy of producing six new shoe collections in a year, and ‘new policy to strategic customers’, were the main reasons behind the move.
