Nike builds partnership with Lego for kids shoes

21/11/2002

Nike Inc. has released a line of children’s shoes based on Lego’s ‘Bionicle’ toys – which feature superheroes who wear masks that give them athletic powers.

Launched on November 6 2002, the new cross-trainer line features masks that can be attached on to the toe box. They will be sold in children's sizes 12c to 6y, and complemented by a range of separate masks.

The shoes are available in Nike and Lego stores, FAO Schwarz and select Dillards, Nordstrom, Journey Kidz and JC Penney locations.
