The rugged footwear brand Timberland has said it is to expand its operations in Europe.

The company’s warehouse in Enschede, Holland, has been modernised and enlarged. The area is now doubled from 20,000 to 40,000 square metres.

Timberland says that the fully automatic, computerised handling will improve service to customers across Europe. The company promises that, from now on, all shops and supermarkets will receive goods within four working days.
