A US wholesaler of leather products is to send six of its staff to Brazil to improve their knowledge of the product.

Called Hot on Time, the company has commissioned CTC SENAI - the Leather Technology Centre of the National Industrial Training Service of Brazil, based in Estância Velha/RS, to undertake the training.

CTC is an internationally recognised technology centre and the only one in South-America offering training for both Brazilian and foreign students. During the two-week course, which will take place later this month, the staff will learn all about the leathermaking process while gaining an in-depth insight into other issues related to the industry, such as sustainability
