Canada aids livestock breeding in Ukraine

The Canadian Agency on International Development will help Ukrainian farmers develop a new breed of highly effective cattle livestock.

The programme, worth some £6 million Canadian ($3.9 US), will aim to improve cattle fodder and breeding techniques and begins in the Rivine, Sumy, Volyn and Dniepropretrivsk regions in March 2003.
