US oil and grease producer acquired by Stahl

The leather chemicals producer Stahl has reinforced its presence in the market for wet end products by acquiring the hundred-year old business of Salem Oil & Grease in the United States.

Under the agreement, Gary Hanson, president of Salem Oil & Grease and Bill Margaritas will join the Stahl team. As no manufacturing assets are included in the sale, production of the Salem range will switch to Stahl’s own facilities.
