The German tanning school and research institute, Lederinstitut Gerberschule Reutlingen (LGR), has advised that its annual seminar for 2003 will focus on the subject of finishing.

To be held March 18-20, the seminar – the 30^th in the series - will look at the latest advances in finishing systems, modification techniques (e.g. water repellency), and application methodologies. The seminars will be held in both English and German, reflecting the increasingly international character of the event. LGR reports that the March 2002 seminar attracted 180 delegates from 17 different countries.
