The Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Pudong will be the venue for the first China International Footwear Fair (CIFF), and will take place alongside Moda International, September 3-5 2003. The organisers say that CIFF has been created to provide a much-needed international-quality footwear-sourcing event in China, which already supplies well over half the world’s footwear needs. China currently exports over 55% of its annual production of six billion pairs of shoes.
