2003 China International Footwear Fair announced

19/09/2002

The Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Pudong will be the venue for the first China International Footwear Fair (CIFF), and will take place alongside Moda International September 3-5 2003.

The organisers say that CIFF has been created to provide a much-needed international-quality footwear-sourcing event in China, which already supplies well over half the world’s footwear needs. China currently exports over 55% of its annual production of six billion pairs of shoes.

International footwear exhibitors at CIFF will have the opportunity to meet mainland buyers, who are stimulating the growing demand in China for imported styles and designs. International buyers will have the opportunity to negotiate with new and existing suppliers at the height of the buying season in Europe and North America.

Moda Shanghai is repositioning to broaden its scope to encompass all types of fashion products- including leather garments, handbags, travelware and fashion accessories.
