Gibsons upgrading production

Gibsons Shoe Factory in the Philippines, a manufacturer of combat and industrial shoes, has acquired the DESMA D912/18 - PU/GU Automatic rotary table injection moulding and pouring machine, used in the direct injection of polyurethane and rubber soles onto shoe uppers.
The new technology will increase and improve the production of footwear for the Armed Forces of the Philippines, of which Gibson’s has been a major supplier, in line with their efforts to modernise.
The company will also continue to supply industrial safety shoes to companies in the Philippines.
