Le Cuir à Paris takes the wraps off leather fashion for autumn 2003
To be held September 19-21 at Porte De Versailles, the event will showcase the autumn/winter 2003/04 offerings of over 200 finished leather, exotic skin and fur producers, with emphasis on the top end of the market.
As at last year’s event, the show will feature a ‘Trends Gallery’ - an open area designed to enable buyers to compare the full range of products on show, away from the main exhibition area. Samples here will be categorised into four different collections termed ‘Shades’, ‘Water Colour’, ‘Sanguine’ and ‘Laser’ - with each being redolent of the moods, colours and textures predicted for next autumn/winter. The show will also see the selection of the winners of a student design competition, sponsored by the show organisers, Sociêté Internationale du Cuir (SIC).
Le Cuir à Paris event runs concurrently with three major apparel-related shows at Parc D’Expositions, Villepinte, Paris – Premiere Vision (International Fabrics), Indigo (Surface Print Design) and Mod ‘Amont (Fashion Supplies and Trimmings).
