Seminars for Uruguayan and Argentine exporters get under way
The United Trade Representative’s office has begun a series of seminars designed to help exporters take advantage of the forthcoming abolition of duties relating to 57 manufactured items from Uruguay and Argentina - including those made from leather.
To be held in both Argentina and Uruguay, the seminars will outline the trade preferences offered under the U.S. General System of Preferences, a programme that offers duty-free access for certain imported goods from poor countries.
