Euro duty on Chinese leather handbags reduced
22/08/2002
The European Commission anti-dumping levy applicable to leather handbags from the People’s Republic of China has now lapsed, the British Luggage and Leathergoods Association (BLLA) has advised.
The development means imports of this kind into the European Union now attract a levy of just 3% - the same as that which applied before the imposition of the higher rate, in 1997.
