Sports footwear manufacturer MGM, based in Treviso, Italy, is to introduce the worlds first ‘step in’ inline skate for children.

The skate features a chassis made from DuPont’s Zytel nylon, and a safety clip made from DuPont’s Delrin acetal resin.

Called the Hypno Skate Transportation System (STS) skate, it is to be marketed to children in the seven to 12 age bracket, and has been designed to be easily and independently slipped on and off.
