Mountain Trails revs up with new Jeep line of footwear
Mountain Trails Inc., the licensee for the new Jeep brand of footwear, has released more details of the range, which is due for launch in the US this autumn.
Reflecting its automotive connections, the new line features a unique Jeep "tread" design. For men, the "Light Trail" collection includes outdoor casual models while the lightweight "Boots" collection offers leather lining with canvas, suede and waxy leather uppers for comfort and durability.
For women, the "Boots" collection offers canvas and suede uppers with rugged bottoms; the "Light Casual Oxfords" offer lace-up, clog and step-in styles with vulcanized bottoms and surface trim detailing. "Comfort Walkers" meanwhile include clog, elastic gore and lace-up styles; and the "Sandals" feature tyre track bottoms, flexible cork mid soles and suede-lined foot beds.
