16/08/2002

The company behind the climate control material Comfortemp, Frisby Technologies, has released its results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2002.

Net revenues increased 35% to just under $2 million, compared with $1.45 million the year before. First half net revenues were up 4% to $3.5m.

The company attributed the second quarter rise to increased revenues by its majority-owned Switzerland-based affiliate, Schoeller Frisby Technologies, GmbH, whose sales increased approximately $447,000 following new product introductions into non-apparel and footwear markets.

The company’s losses for the three month period were down 30% to $667,000 and down 8% to $1.94 million in the six month period.
