Brzeg S.A., Poland’s leading private tannery with shares listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, has been granted disabled employee exemption status. As such, the business now benefits from higher tax and VAT thresholds. To achieve the accreditation, the tannery was required to show that over 50% of its employees qualified as disabled. The status was granted for three years and is expected to improve company’s financial performance.
