Azaleia reinforces Mexican distribution presence

The Brazilian footwear producer Azaleia is due to commence operations at a new distribution centre in Mexico this month.

Located in the Mexican capital of Ciudad de Mexico, the 5,000 square metre facility has a storage capacity of 200,000 pairs, enabling the company to respond immediately to repeat orders for "Azaleia" and "Dijean" branded footwear in the local marketplace.  Azaleia is one of Brazil’s largest footwear manufacturers, producing some 45 million pairs per year worth R$720 million (US$250 million).
