Canadian leather goods company Danier Leather are to introduce a new 3,300 square foot retail space in Toronto's fashionable Yorkdale Mall in August, the company has revealed. The move is part of an effort to elevate the company’s accessories business to 30% of its total revenue.

Danier said this week that the Yorkdale store would showcase a brighter, more contemporary interior design, highlighting each product category with its own distinctive department. A large department at the front entrance will be dedicated solely to accessories.

The company stated that the new location will feature a leather wall, antique bronze hardware and custom-designed ottomans to provide a comfortable space focused on the fashion requirements of individual customers.

The store will carry an expansive collection of men and women's suede and leather clothing, including shearling jackets, bombers, leather trenches, printed suede skirts as well as items from the high-end Danier-Luxe line. In addition it will house a new leather home accessories line, a collection of gift items, jewellery, knit scarves, travel games, belts, messenger bags and backpacks.

Interior design firm Burdifilek, which also created Danier’s Bloor Street interior, designed the Yorkdale store.
