Ex-Michell man starts environmental consultancy
Richard Fassbender, long time technician with Australian based Michell Leather, has started his own company - Economic Environmental Solutions Pty Ltd.
Fassbender has worked in the wool and leather industry for 17 years, moving from a production and technical environment to developing responsible economic environmental management practices for wool processor G.H. Michell & Sons, Michell Leather's parent company.
Richard also worked for Australian Leather Holdings, parent company of Howe Leather and Gosh Leather, where he commissioned and managed the company’s Darkan wet blue plant in Western Australia.
Among the range of environmental and technical services offered by Economic Environmental Solutions are energy use audits, odour assessment and control, soil chemistry advice and environmental management system preparation.
