International Shoe Machine has opened a plant in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil, to produce shoe machines for both the Brazilian market and for export, the company says.

Three models of machine currently being produced are the CIT-M7RE toe laster; the ASHLG side laster, and the HMLR heel-moulding machine. Other machines will be introduced depending upon demand.
