New owner for Sorbothane Shockstopper brand of insoles

The SorbothaneShockstopper series of insoles and heelpads for athletic, outdoor, medical and safety footwear has a new owner.

Together with its sister brands, Bodyguard neoprene supports and the newly launched SorboSkin range of blister plasters, the product line has been acquired by an award-winning UK-based medical and surgical products, Phoenix Medical Limited.

Retaining its technical manufacturing and sales team, in August Sorbothane will move to new dedicated premises in its home town of Leyland, Lancashire.
