Responding to a survey that shows Chinese feet are getting bigger, the China Leather and Shoe-making Institute has said it is to revise the shoe last criteria.

Last updated 36 years ago, the new criteria will take account of other findings besides, including the fact that the number of people with flat feet and big toe protrusion has increased by 20% over the past decade. About 20 thousand people in different parts of China have been examined so far as part of the survey.
