With one eye on the wider marketplace for wool processing machinery, Australia’s Woolmark Company has acquired an 80% stake in the New Zealand textile processing equipment specialist Andar.

James Irvine the Managing Director of Andar will retain shareholding in the Company and continue as managing director. Best known for its wool scouring equipment, Andar also manufactures water treatment and carpet manufacturing systems.
