Prime Tanning, Inc. has announced that its St. Joseph, Missouri, tanning facility has been accredited to the environmental management standard, ISO-14001.

The certification recognises company initiatives and a formal, documented programme that systematically addresses federal, state and local environmental regulatory compliance, as well as initiatives in waste reduction and pollution prevention, the company says. Prime Tanning already has awards from the State of Maine and the State of New Hampshire for environmental excellence.
