Pakistan has announced that it has signed two bilateral trade agreements with Morocco, according to an official statement. One is an agreement on trade and economic co-operation between Pakistan and Morocco, the other a memorandum of co-operation between Pakistan’s Export Promotion Bureau and the Moroccan Centre for Export Promotion (CMPE)

Textiles, leather, pharmaceuticals and engineering goods are the specific sectors of interest. The Pakistani textile industry is set to benefit in particular due to Morocco's free access to the EU for textile products.
