Strong exhibitor interest claimed for Vietnam footwear and leather show

 This year’s Vietnamese leather and footwear exhibition, opening July 3 at the Ho Chi Minh City International Exhibition and Convention Centre, has attracted strong interest from nearly 100 international exhibitors, the organisers have reported.

This year will see the fourth annual exhibition, organised by the Vietnam Leather and Footwear Association, Vietnam Leather and Footwear Corp, Mecanimex and Hong Kong’s Top Repute. Mecanimex deputy director Bui Quang Tuyen said the main objectives would be to acquaint Vietnamese companies with the latest in production machinery and materials and to provide them with the opportunity to increase foreign trade.

To date 130 companies have indicated their support, with registrations coming from Italy, China, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong and Taiwan, among others.
