New Brazilian factory for Italian footwear varnish manufacturer

The Italian manufacturer of varnishes for soles, heels and plastic materials, Nuova Sivam, has opened a factory in the town of Tijucas, in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. The factory’s location was chosen by virtue of its close proximity to both the footwear manufacturing cluster of Sao Joao Batista and the BR-101 motorway. It is also sited within just a few kilometres from the ports of Itajai and Sao Francisco do Sul.

Nuova Sivam also has an office and a laboratory in the town of Novo Hamburgo, centre of the country's main shoe producing region. The lab is equipped to develop samples and produce small quantities of product. The Novo Hamburgo premises include warehousing facilities.
