The Ukrainian premier has said it has no plans to lift restrictions on the export of livestock, hides and skins.

Speaking to an assembly of light industry businesses last week, Premier Kinakh asserted; "These are strategic raw materials (that) should be made to work in favour of the national market and domestic producers." Kinakh said that with this in mind, he would also be looking to review the leather and livestock aspects of existing agreements with Ukraine’s free trade partners.
