HTL International to build new facility in China
HTL International has said it will invest just over $1 million in a new leather tanning facility in Changshu, Jiangsu province in China. The move will create the Singapore-based furniture and leather company’s second facility in China.
HTL group managing director Phua Yong Tat said that the move made sense considering the proximity of the new facility to Kunshan, where the company’s first Chinese factory is located. The new facility will operate on a 13,600 square metre site in Changkun Industrial Park on a five-year lease.
