Weyco completes acquisition of Florsheim US operations

Weyco Group said today that it completed the previously announced acquisition of the Florsheim Group (see leatherbiz.com story ‘Senior management changes at Weyco - 16.5’). The acquisition includes the U.S. wholesale business and 23 retail stores. Weyco said it expects to complete the purchase of Florsheim's European operations in June 2002.
