The Australian Hide, Skin and Leather Exporters’ Association Ltd. (ASHLEA) held its annual elections at the Royal Automobile Club of Victoria on May 6, 2002.

John Gorman, of Aries Victorian Sheepskins, was elected president; N Moses (A.H. Hides and Skins Australia) was elected vice-president; and John Carlile (Kreglinger Australia), Niko Borkovic (Nibor Australia), Victor Topper (A.I. Topper & Co.), Ian Clough (Consolidated Meat Group) were elected directors.
