US boot manufacturer McRae Industries, Inc. has announced an extension to its military boot contract with the US government. The previous agreement was scheduled to expire on April 15, 2002, but was extended to July 19, 2002.

It is estimated that the new deal could be worth up to $13.1 million in extra revenue. The North Carolina-based company said it has already received a delivery order for boots worth $6.25 million.
