Italian footwear brand Tod's has announced results for the first quarter of 2002 showing sales up 16.8% to 105.2 million euros ($95.65 million) compared with the same period in 2001. Operating profit for the first quarter was up an even more impressive 31.4% to 14.5 million euros.
