Tanbridge post $1m loss for first quarter
Canada’s beleaguered Tanbridge Corporation has announced a loss for the three months ended March 31, 2002 of $1,020,718 (37 cents per share) compared to a loss of $1,368,465 (50 cents per share) in 2001.
Sales volume for the first quarter of 2002 was $15,757,826 compared to $19,147,275 a year earlier. The Tanbridge Corporation is Canada's largest leather producer, with plants located in Winnipeg and Pennsylvania, as well as a freeze-dry processor of food and other biological products, with plants located in Ontario and New York.
