APLF attendance figures released
The combination of the Raw Materials and Manufacturing Show with the Fashion and Finished Products Show at the Asia Pacific Leather Fair 2002 succeeded in attracting record numbers, according to figures released by the event organisers.
Perrine Ardouin, Senior Event Manager of APLF, said that the idea of overlapping the two events would "form the basis of future APLF April shows."
The number of people visiting both shows meant that figures for each fair were boosted considerably. According to the figures audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers, 30,417 people from 112 countries and regions attended the Raw Materials and Manufacturing show – an increase of 27% from the previous year. For the Fashion & Finished Products April Show there was a total of 20,844 buyers from 103 countries and regions – an increase of 39% over last year.
