Ex-Tandy Leather president to manage outlet for The Leather Factory

US leather goods retailer The Leather Factory has announced the appointment of Don Moon, formerly president of Tandy Leather, as manager of its lead store in Fort Worth.

Mr Moon started working for Tandy Leather Company in 1983 as an instructor, and in 1996 he became its president. After leaving Tandy Leather in 1998 he was most recently executive vice-president of a local retail leathercraft company. His wife, Becky Moon, has also been hired by The Leather Factory with a view to eventually running a new store to be opened in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
