The Moda Made In Italy 2002 (Fashion Made In Italy) exhibition, held in Munich, April 5-7, saw a fall in visitors compared with last year. Numbers were down 6,5% to 2,173.

The show suffered from the fact that economic conditions have been difficult recently in Germany. Despite some of the 280 exhibitors claiming an increase in orders, the overall mood was not good. It seems that many of the smaller traders had decided not to attend the event.
