The organisers of Matech China, held in Dongguan, have reported a good response by exhibitors, and visitors, with numbers over the 5,000 mark. Planned as a complement to the Asia Pacific Leather Fair, held in Hong Kong from April 8-12, Matech China is ideally situated next to thriving footwear and leather goods industries in Dongguan.

Senior Event Manager, Ms Perrine Ardouin said: "visitors came not only from Dongguan but also from all over China, in particular they also came from Wenzhou which is an important footwear manufacturing area. We also had strong attendance from Guangzhou where we arranged shuttle transport from the major shoe cities."
