Dutch specialty chemicals firm Stahl has announced two new appointments at its base in Waalwijk, Holland: Laurence Irwin has been appointed products manager, leather processing products, colours and tanning products division, and David Eldred has been appointed as a technical adviser for shoes and leather goods.

Laurence Irwin was educated in the UK at the British School of Leather Technology before moving to South Africa in 1992. He joined Stahl in 2001 as European technical marketing manager for the colour and tanning products division. David Eldred was previously at Bayer South Africa before joining Stahl Holland just over a year ago.
