The German chemicals giant, BASF, has opened a Fur Centre of Excellence in Spain.

Based at the company’s BASF Curtex S.A. division in Barcelona, the centre offers advice on the application of all the company’s fur treatment chemicals and can provide custom formulations for specific processes.

The centre’s activities encompass all aspects of the fur treatment process, BASF says, from dressing through dyeing to Nappa.
