Russian government to relinquish stake in agricultural concerns

The Russian government is planning to sell government-owned stakes in 60 agricultural firms and transform 33 federal unitary enterprises into private companies. Among other measures, the government plans to privatise government-owned animal-breeding enterprises in Dergachevsky and Kamyshevsky (Saratov region), Tyumen, Znamensky (Tver region), as well as the Khomutov poultry-breeding plant in Kursk.
