All change at the top at Pittards
The UK leathermaker Pittards has lost over 73 years of experience after two directors retired last week.
Purchasing Director Paul Gillett (61) is leaving after 40 years in service and Group Human Resources Director Clive Champion (60) retires after 33 years.
Both directors are replaced by existing Pittards personnel, with John Moriarty taking up the post of purchasing and utilisation director and Jill Williams the post of Group HR Director.
Moriarty joined Pittards in 1974 after reading chemistry, physics and mathematics at Trinity College Dublin and studying at Leathersellers’ College in London. Williams joined the company in 1989, becoming Company Secretary in 1991.
