New name and image for Packer Tanning

As part of a comprehensive overhaul of its corporate identity, Australia’s Packer Tanning has changed its name to Packer Leather.
In a letter to the company’s customers, managing director Lindsay Packer attributed the decision to the business’s increased emphasis on the end product, rather than the processes involved.
In addition to the new name, the 111 year-old Queensland-based company has also taken on a new logo and strident new corporate branding.
