UK research specialist SATRA will be showcasing its technology at the Asia Pacific Leather Fair (APLF) in Hong Kong. The company bought the rights to the Bally Penetrometer last year but is also keen to publicise technologies developed in-house such as Sensor, a pocket-sized process control device to monitor heat, humidity, and the heat-setting process.

Software developed by SATRA for the leather and footwear industry will also be demonstrated at APLF, including a prototype production scheduling system, known as "Q", and SATRASumm, the cutting and material utilisation package.
