No change in Midec visitor figures year-on-year

The Organisers of Midec Paris, SEPIC, have advised that the 30th session of the International Footwear Fashion Fair, previewing the collections for autumn-winter 2002/03 and updates for summer 2002, attracted 10,120 visitors – just six more than the year before.
In making the announcement, SEPIC said it believed the similarity in the figures indicated that levels of business in the footwear sector were to be returning to normal after the events of September 11. Out of the total, 989 visitors were from outside France – 76 more than the year before.
